Experience, Playtime and general info
Battle.Net Account: desideriuM
Former experience and/or safelisted channels:
I have newer played actively in clans on the battle.net rather on garena. I've played in multiple smaller clans such is DsD for example. I've recently returned from a two month rest from battle.net (played only on garena).
Your activity and average playtime each week:
I play daily, 5-6 matches a day minimum. But usually it's above 10 a day.
How long you have been playing DotA:
Hmmm. To be honest, I have no idea. It must have been from the first versions that came out from Ice-Frog, but I've played the original Defense of the Ancients as well from waaaay back. As for how long have I've been playing DotA more seriously, is around 2-3 years.
Your ability to communicate with others:
Definitely I can communicate well. Bad communication only lead to chaos and problems. I've been leading a mod/indie game developer team for quite some time (www.dilogus.com) and this also trained me quite a lot in how to handle groups of people, communicate with people in different languages or act as a bridge between multiple language speaking people.
Have you read the rules and agree to follow them?
Naturally, I've read the rules and I agree to follow them of course.
How do you react/behave when you're under pressure?
Under pressure? Well, it's quite hard to get me under pressure to be honest. I've got used to have steep things happen around me while running my small team. I can easily handle stressful situations or anything alike, but even if I am under pressure, I can easily keep myself in focus and calm. It's a must for anyone who wants to be a moderator a leader or anything similar,no?:)
Do you have any problems in listening/following your superior's orders?
Absolutely do not. I'm used to following exact orders and been even actively doing so for the past two years as a freelance 2D artist. Beside it, I am quite sure that my superior would not have to repeat any order twice to me.
Is there anyone who can vouch for you?
I know a few people on battle.net but I am not sure if they are worth much. Mostly only friends... If that counts. As I've said, I'm recently returned to battle.net from a longer period of garena gaming. If it's really needed,I can look up my old contacts.
Willing to discuss your application on Ventrilo?(optional)
Definitely. Just drop me the connection details and "meeting" time and I'll hop-on for a talk.
Final Thoughts
Why do you want to be an Admin:
In short, I want to help make games more convenient. Game on battle.net need some ordering. Banlists worth almost nothing and players usually just leave auto-hosted games and ruin the fun for others. In other hand, I enjoy helping people. Makes me happy. ^^
A few things about yourself:
I come from Serbia, Novi Sad. I'm 18 and am a Student of Art & Design. I work as a freelance artist for multiple projects and am still open for new ones. I have a 4-hours a day position at a small game company as the lead 2D environment artist as well. I really enjoy drawing and producing music. My nickname, Desiderium is also my music production name. I am producing tech house, minimal and drum and bass. I am not entirely professional but I've recently received an offer from a minimal label. On the side, I enjoy roleplaying (Dungeons and Dragons mostly) and writing. As mentioned above I also lead a small MOD/Indie Game team who's producing a Crysis MOD under my design. I give classes of English to kids. ^^ could write a lot more, but that's that I guess in short.
Thanks for your patience,
Kind Regards
Norbert
