I've been authorised to release some new screenshots during this conference, so I'm going to do so on a staggered basis between now and the end of the session.
You saw them here first!

Time for another screenshot, I think.

Isn't it Elvis on the second one, near the hut with red cross? :-)
I don't know... :P

Those screens look absolutely great, especially the backgrounds. I'm not sure wheter I prefer the characters out of the old engine or the new ones though...
Are you sure?
;D

I love the look Steve. Very, very Broken Sword 1 & 2 -like. Especially the first screenshot. Apologies if I've missed the news, but is there a regularly updated website now and news of a realease date (month?)? Also, will it have good game length like the Broken Sword games?
Thanks for the screenshots!
Thanks. I love them, too.
One of the great things about not being directly connected with the art is that I can say how much I like it without feeling I'm being self-congratulatory in any way.

The official website is here: http://www.soblonde-game.de/ I'm not sure how often it's updated. The release date is March next year, I believe.
There is about 20 hours of gameplay, we estimate, but that's always dependent on the individual player.

Thanks Steve. Now how do I stop this disgusting salivating at the prospect of a March release? That's a rhetorical question of course! ;D
Great screens, thanks Steve.

I like the backgrounds in the 3 last shots more than the first two. And the characters have a bit too much of a plastic nature to them, particularly the 2nd shot (reminiscent of Diablo).
Thats the thing I don't like about the new engine...Originally Posted by shae
I'd guess the shading can be tweaked. And possibly at a much higher level than the engine.Originally Posted by axelkothe
