MyMGN Review contest 2011!

Hello and welcome to MyMGN's review contest for this period! While you can't see my face, I'm probably doing this right now:

Now disregard Dean and Sam and let's move on to our theme for this contest: videogames.
You will be writing a review about a specific video game that you choose. A submission thread will be opened in the contests forum for your entries. This thread will serve as discussion around the matter.

What is a game review?

A game review is your personal ratings, critical opinion and experience about a game that you played. Reviews are not presentations; you are being truthful about what you liked and disliked in that game.

Rules and guidelines:

• You submit your reviews HERE, not in this thread.
• The judging will be conducted by the MyMGN staff privately.
• Anyone but the judges can enter the contest.
• Reviews should be either written in Greek or English.
• Reviews are neither short nor lengthy. It is recommended to write between 400-800 words.
• Please spell-check your work and make sure your grammar is good. It's important for a review.
• Use paragraphs and avoid using extraneous formatting like big, colorful letters unless you think it is really justified.
• Additional information in the form of pictures is acceptable and will enhance your review, but don't overdo it.

The contest will end at the end of the year 2011. Judging will take place shortly after. Naturally, you may submit your reviews until then.

The winner will receive a custom user title of their preference and will last until the start of the next contest (which will be probably in February 2012), and also receive VIP tier rights.

Γειά σας και καλωσήρθατε στο MyMGN's review contest αυτής της περιόδου! Αν και δεν μπορείτε να δείτε την φάτσα μου αυτήν τη στιγμή, μάλλον κάνω αυτό εδώ ακριβώς:

Aς αφήσουμε τώρα τους Dean και Sam και ας πάμε στο θέμα του διαγωνισμού: videogames.
Θα γράψετε μια κριτική για ένα συγκεκριμένο βιντεοπαιχνίδι που θα διαλέξετε. Ένα ξεχωριστό thread για την υποβολή κριτικών θα γίνει στο contests forum. Το παρόν thread θα παραμείνει για θέματα συζήτησης πάνω στον διαγωνισμό.

Τί είναι ένα game review?

Το game review είναι η προσωπική σας άποψη και εκτίμηση πάνω σε ένα βίντεοπαιχνίδι που έχετε παίξει. Διαφέρει από την παρουσίαση καθώς μιλάτε ειλικρινά για το τι σας άρεσε και τί όχι σε αυτό το παιχνίδι.

Κανόνες και οδηγίες:

• Υποβάλλετε τις κριτικές σας ΕΔΩ, όχι σε αυτό το thread.
• Η αξιολόγηση και βαθμολογία θα γίνει από το MyMGN staff σε ιδιωτικό χώρο.
• Στον διαγωνισμό μπορούν να λάβουν μέρος όλοι εκτός από τους προαναφερθήσαντες κριτές.
• Οι κριτικές πρέπει να είναι γραμμένες στα Ελληνικά ή Αγγλικά. ΌΧΙ GREEKLISH.
• Οι κριτικές να μην είναι ούτε πολύ μικρές ούτε τεράστιες. Γράψτε περίπου 400-800 λέξεις.
• Ελέγξτε το post σας για τυχόν ορθογραφικά ή γραμματικά λάθη. Είναι σημαντικό θέμα σε μια κριτική.
• Χρησιμοποιήστε παραγράφους και αποφύγετε τα έντονα, μεγάλα και πολύχρωμα γράμματα, εκτός κι αν υπάρχει κάποια αιτία.
• Έξτρα πληροφορίες σε μορφή εικόνων βοηθάνε την κριτική σας αλλά μην το παρακάνετε.

Ο διαγωνισμός λήγει στο τέλος του 2011. Η αξιολόγηση των κριτικών θα λάβει μέρος αμέσως μετά. Φυσικά έχετε μέχρι τότε για να καταχωρήσετε την κριτική σας.

Ο νικητής θα λάβει ένα custom user title της αρέσκειάς του, που θα κρατήσει μέχρι τον επόμενο διαγωνισμό (που μάλλον θα γίνει τον Φεβρουάριο 2012), και θα λάβει επίσης VIP tier rights.
