If you're a user that plays via LAN PC's, this is a guide for you to help out and to be aware of your actions.

It is your responsibility what so ever if you were banned by one of the following:

• Leaving
• AFK-ing
• Game Ruining
• Spamming or flooding
• Map Hacking (CRITICAL)

Suppose you get banned, the following scenarios might happen.

1. The computer in which you were playing on will be banned; singularly.
2. The entire network will be banned.

Why do those scenarios differ ?
The scenarios differ on the way the network was built, if the router is giving either dynamic or static IP's to the computers.
If static , all computers will be banned on the LAN
If dynamic, only one computer ban will be issued / player or computer.

How can RGC STAFF help ?
This forum was created if you think you were banned unfairly by one of us. It could happen because of a missjudgement or something we missed or we got the wrong user etc.
We also can unban the computer or network if it's a timeban to let other users/client access RGC.

Format of an unban request for a LAN issuer:

Your username :
Username that was banned on LAN:
Ban request link:
Ban Reason:
Other users/clients on LAN you know of:

Map Hack Issuer:
Note that using cheat tools is the most serious accusation in the RGC rules codex and its punishment is getting your account banned with an IP address lock for 60 days.
You can appeal for an unban request only after your period of ban has expired.

RGC STAFF will computer ban and client ban all users who are caught map hacking.
If it's a LAN CAFFE, we might give up to 3 chances of unbanning the place.
After that we might issue an IP BAN LOCK.

Note: Currently there's no solution yet to prevent users from map hacking, but hopefully in the near future we will have an ANTI-MAPHACK System.

We can help you prevent users from running certain programs in your store.

Follow this guide:
If your a system administrator, you may have problems with your users running programs like MAP HACK? If you want to stop such programs from running, here�s how to use Group Policy to prevent users from running certain programs.

1. Click START>RUN and type GPEDIT.MSC

2. The Group Policy Editor appears.
Click on the plus sign next to User Configuration
then Administrative Templates then System
and double-click the policy Don�t run specified Windows applications.



3. Set the policy to Enabled, then click Show�



4. Click Add� to add the programs you would like to prevent the user from running. Use the name of the full file such as GM.EXE or other map hack file names. I took an example of Garena Map Hack.

From now on the user will get a message �This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator.� when he tries to run the programs you added.



I should mention that if the user is smart enough to rename the program file, they will be able to run the program again. Most users will get the idea though and not bother to figure that out.

Instead, go to Computer Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Software restriction policies and create a new rule�you can obtain a hash by adding a certain file, even if the name or extension is changed, the file won�t run.
