    Default Telltale Now online distribution

hi Heather and/or Dan! I'm interested in knowing whether or not any independent developers have approached you yet about distributing their games online through Telltale Now. I've been hoping we'll see more games that we wouldn't otherwise see because of publishers not wanting to take too many risks.

I was also specifically wondering if it's a possibility if Ankh would be released on Telltale Now (since you all did have some kind of creative consulting partnership with them or something), or if Deck 13 had plans already to release that in the US through a different publisher. I know it's already been released in Germany with a box and all that, but I was curious if there was something going on with Telltale and a English version online distribution... thing.

    ;D

    Hi There,

We are definitely talking to other developers about hosting content at TTnow. Like everything crossing the iii's and dotting the ttt's takes time. We are definitely looking for interestinbg content and would love to hear what you guys recommend if you know of something.

Ankh looks really great and we would love to have it on the site as soon as we can work things out.

    Thanks for the question

Oh, take your time, I'm in no rush and I understand secrecy and making sure everything's all ironed out before spilling the beans. I'd like to see online distribution really take off, and I think you're in a good position to help other developers get their games out there.

Actually, isn't that a different game? Vterchen Frost is an older game which was released a few years ago (and there is an english version of it)

Whispered World is published by Bad Brain, and they are creating the English version as well.

True, but maybe they could use TTNow as a mode of distribution. But then, that could be a whole icky mess of figuring out who's publshing what and so on.
