Hehe, nice . Is this just a photoshopped tease, or will Mekapods really be in 3D?

This will be the new look for the game. I'm currently developing some ideas in my spare time.

Hi Steve, looks really interesting - reminds me a bit of the Joey stuff from Beneath A Steel Sky... or maybe even the days of Paradroid on the ol' C64. What 3D package did you model this with?
Thanks.
I'm using Blender.

How did you find using Blender? I tackled it once or twice but was put off by the interface. Do you think it's worth persevering with? Big plus is obviously that it's free!
The interface takes a little getting used to, particularly if you're into all the standard Windows keyboard shortcuts. Everything is different. However, once you get your head around that it's pretty good to use. There are plenty of tutorials and documentation to take you through the learning process.

You might have persuaded me to give it another go, Steve!
Just make sure that you save regularly. It does crash every so often, but that could be just my machine.

Looks great!

Thanks. I actually updated the screenshot, so if anyone already looked they should take another look now.

Hello again Steve. Are you using the Blender engine for this game? If not, which?

The engine is secret for the moment.
