What is ranked public

Hello,

I am introducing a new channel to you, it is called Ranked public. Unlike other channels on RGC, it features new scoring system ( I will explain it latter), auto baning and unbanning of leavers, people with high % of disconnects.

What is needed to get vouch in channel?
- At the moment channel is in beta, with initial 2K people vouched. When beta is over, you will be auto-vouched when you hit rank5( 11 games without leave )

Is there ladder?
- Yes: http://stats.rankedgaming.com/rgc_stats/players.php
At the moment it is only one page ladder, but it will be expanded on soon to include all relevant dota stats.

How are points calculated?
- Points are calculated only on win/lose base, the amount of points you win or lose depends of 3 things, your points, your teams mates points, and other team points. We will modify the formula if there is need, that why there is beta, to see how points will work while we add all features we want.

Why i dont see game in client UI?
- At the moment when game is hosted you can see it in warcraft3 lan, or if you click Servers button in your client

Is there balance command?
- All signed games will be auto-balanced. For the moment that feature is off, because you all started with 1500 points. I will turn it on in a day or two. There will also be other type of games, private games. You will get access to host command when you play 30 games on channel.

What commands are there?
- There are few new in game commands:
!points - will display your points, and teams average. It will look like this:
Player: Zemunac has 1545.12 (+34 / -42 ) points
ok, 1545.12 is my current points, but this is interesting +34 / - 42 , that means that in care my team wins this game I will win 34 points, and if we lose i will lose 42.

!pointsall - Same as rankall, but it will display points of all players in game.
!diff - It will only display the amount of points you will win or lose.
!checkme - Displays your ping, location, etc.
!statsdota - Dota stats

You can do !points "name" in channel and if that user has played games bot will whisper you his points.

The ranked public idea has been moved to be implemented in normal public. As you see points system is in place all ready and some other things are to come.
