About us:

This year Step CG celebrated its 10th anniversary. We started in 1995 from text adventure for Spectrum ZX platform. This game was extremely popular in the countries of the former USSR. But soon it became clear that 'Spectrum must die' - much sronger rival IBM PC conquered the market (in our country, of course, we know that it has conquered the world market in the beginning of 80s).

Today Step CG is an independent developer of computer games on PC platform. We have already finished the work on two projects. 3D tactical arcade DEactivation was released in 2003 (Russian Federation, Germany, Poland). 2d animated adventure for family market Alice's Journey based on Kir Bulytchev's novel was released in June, 2005 (Russian Federation).

Three games are in development now and also we have some interesting projects not announced yet :.

Maybe you have heard something about our upcoming projects Star Heritage 1: The Black Cobra and Evenings on a Farm near Dikanka. We decided to open separate topics for these projects. There you can find detailed information, some screenshots and also our presents for you!

On the 6th of September 2005 we have opened the official web-site www.stepgames.com. It has been considerably replenished with new information on projects from Step CG, and has received a new design similar to the Russian version. So if you want to be up on the news of one of actively developing companies in Russia, WELCOME!

Good ...night! it is 22.27 in Moscow now. I can give you the approximate release of Dikanka in Russian Federation - it is the end of december (beginning of january).
We are working now on Evenings on a Farm near Dikanka and The Island: The Earthling. Star Heritage 1: The Black Cobra is tested.

Alex, I can answer you that in the nearest future we are not going to begin developing ganes for another platform accept PC. However, it is possible if we find outsourcing partner to do it
