Compromised and Stolen Accounts
In the instance your RGC account is compromised or lost, your options are limited.
Expect these things to happen:
- Permanent Ban
- Password Reset
- Email Confirmation
- PM's From Staff
We encourage you to make a new account, until further due notice.
We will match your new account IP to your old account. If a match exists, it will make it easier to help you recover your account. Be sure to use a secured email to signup your new account. We will use your new account email to replace your old account, and then we will send you a password recovery email.
Do not attempt to recover your account until you've secured your computer and email accounts.
The next thing you should do is contact any GLOBAL ADMIN, and choose "Stolen Account" for a subject. Provide as much detail as you can. If the staff discovers your account was compromised, it will be banned to prevent damage to the account and scams.

We cannot guarantee account recovery. Securing your account is vital to the ecosystem of RGC. Your stolen account can be used to scam other members or post disruptive messages. Even harass other members and destroy reputations with false accusations. Protect your account at all times.
The more info you have to prove it's your account, the better your chances of getting your account returned to you.
