Default Darer to host a 100,000 tournament?

Garena has been the main platform for DotA and for many years but it may change in the near future as a new platform emerged.

This new platform is called Darer entertainment and the organizers will focus on DotA before expanding to other games such as StarCraft II. To show their interest into the game, the organizers have decided to host the biggest online DotA tournament with a total prize purse of 100,000 including 30,000 for the winner.

GosuGamers caught up with the organizers for a small interview about their new platform which is set to be ready in November:
We see that you have a page announcing a 100,000 DotA tournament. Is there anything you like to say about the tournament?
Well, this will be our first tournament and will mark the launch of our website and community. The prize is this big because we want to show all gamers that we have something to offer and that we are all about professional gaming. There will be many more tournaments coming up in the future and we will try to keep the prizes as high as possible.

Is there any sponsor backing up the company?
There are no sponsors for now. Our first tournament will be sponsored only by us. We will see what will happen in the future. But we will keep high prizes even if we don't have any sponsors.

When you are going to start your platform?
We don't have a set date yet because the development is still in progress. However, we hope that we will be able to launch in a month or two. On November, everything should be up and running.

We can see on the current webpage, that your planning to expand to StarCraft 2 in the future. How do you plan to implement Starcraft 2 into your platform, since it has no LAN mode?
In the beginning we will start only with DotA and will add SC2 as soon as possible. Since the only legal way to play SC2 is on Battle.net, we are not going to have servers on our platform where people will be able to play. For SC2 our goal is to provide only ladders, prizes, tournaments as well as a community to SC2 fans.
Let's hope that this organization will pay the prizemoney to the winning teams. After so many issues with unpaid salaries, sponsors not paying tickets for tournaments and so on, this tournament may bring some confidence within the DotA scene.
